The FreeFall at Orlando’s Icon Park is touted as the tallest free-standing drop tower in the world. It was opened late last year and killed 14-year-old Tyre Sampson. The FreeFall allows thirty riders to climb to the top of the drop tower, where they plunge 400 feet at speeds of over 75mph. A family attorney from New York filed a lawsuit against the park’s FreeFall ride companies.
